Friday Favorites

WooHoo!  It's Friday, Friends!!  Today I'm linking up Andrea, Narci & Erika for some Friday Favorites =)

Alyx is FINALLY feeling better!  Yesterday she went to daycare, and they said she ate every bit of her lunch, and then for dinner last night she was a little piggy =)  I asked her what she wanted for dinner, and her answer was "fry fries" (french fries)  =)

Such a crazy baby =)

I've discovered this Sally Hansen Miracle Gel top coat for nails and I am in LOVE!

I just changed my polish last night, but my previous polish had been on for a week with no chips at all after putting this stuff on top!  I found this at Ulta, but i'm sure you can get it just about anywhere.

I'm sure you've all heard by now, but guess what's back??

Yup!  I haven't had one YET...but I'm thinking maybe tomorrow =)

We survived the first week back to school!  Emma has had a great week, and was excited to head off to school again this morning =)

Why do they grow soo soo fast?!?

I felt the need to share this, this morning.  All the officers that have been killed in the line of duty in the recent couple of weeks is just absolutely crazy.  When will it stop?  I'm not going to lie, every time Brian walks out the door now I do get nervous.  We're praying it stops soon.

Thoughts for Thursday {9-02-2015}

Happy Thursday, Friends!  We are almost to the weekend =)  I'm linking up with Annie & Natalie today for, Thoughts for Thursday.

Summer vacation may have officially ended for us, but our summer weather has not!  This week has been fantastic weather wise, and this weekend doesn't look like it's going to disappoint at all!!  I'm looking forward to it since Brian and I are both off this weekend.  

This week we have been battling a sickness with Alyx.  She came down with a fever on Sunday, and as of today she still keeps getting a fever.  We have taken her to the doctor twice.  I left work today to bring her back in to see her doctor, and it's just a virus that will eventually go away on it's own.  I really don't like when she's not feeling well. 

Hopefully in the next day or two she will be back to her normal self!!

Emma is LOVING school so far.  I know we are only into the 4th day, but she has come home the last 3 afternoons and said how much she has enjoyed it!  I hope the rest of the school year is as great as the last couple days have been =)

I can't get over how grown up she is looking.  Like seriously, all of a sudden she looks so old!  Time needs to slow down!!  

The girls have so much fun playing in the backyard.  The other night after dinner, we headed out to play on the swings.  Alyx at that moment in time was feeling well, and seemed up to it.  It was shortly after we came back inside she went down hill again.  The pictures don't even show she didn't feel well.

She could swing on this thing all.day.long!!!

Those big blueberry eyes =)  I hope they are always this blue.

And Emma's freckles.  I <3 them.  And I hope she forever keeps them!

The girls had so much fun looking for grasshoppers =)

Summer vacation may have officially ended for us, but our summer weather has not!  This week has been fantastic weather wise, and this weekend doesn't look like it's going to disappoint at all!!  I'm looking forward to it since Brian and I are both off this weekend.

First Day of School {4th Grade}

I honestly cannot believe that my little Emma started 4th grade yesterday!  I know everyone says this, but seriously it seems like yesterday that she was born!  She was soooo excited to start this school year, and that made it so much easier.  This year she has her first male teacher.  I think she was a tad bit nervous about that, until she met him last month.  He was really funny and seems super nice.  I'm certain she is going to have a great year!

First Day of School {4th Grade}

I honestly cannot believe that my little Emma started 4th grade yesterday!  I know everyone says this, but seriously it seems like yesterday that she was born!  She was soooo excited to start this school year, and that made it so much easier.  This year she has her first male teacher.  I think she was a tad bit nervous about that, until she met him last month.  He was really funny and seems super nice.  I'm certain she is going to have a great year!

Favorite Things

Happy Monday!  It's the first day of 4th grade today for Miss Emma.  I am just completely blown away by how fast time is going by.  It honestly seems like just yesterday she was going into Pre-K.  I'll do a complete re-cap of the first day of school tomorrow =)  But today I am linking up with Erika & Andrea for, Favorite things! =)

This week we're talking about our Favorite Summer Moment!  And what a perfect day for this, since yesterday was basically our last day of summer vacation.

I can't say I have one single favorite moment this summer...all of them were pretty amazing.  But seeing my girls happy, carefree and having fun was the best!  So today I'm sharing some our favorite summer days we had =)

We spent countless hours at the pool this summer, and we had so much fun!

I'm going to miss pool nights like crazy!  Not only did the girls have a blast at the pool, it also completely wore them both out before bed! haha =) 

One wish I do have, is that we would have gone to the ocean more, but we did go a couple of times and the girls had too much fun playing in the sand and sea =)

Camp.  Camp in the summer is sooo nice.  Relaxing and Fun at all at the same time.

We spent hours out on the water in the kayaks, digging in the sand, playing in the water, eating yummy food, campfires & s'mores.

Our summer was great.  One of the best summers we have had in a long time.  I'm honestly really sad to see Fall come.  Only because once Fall is here...that means winter is coming.
