Happy Monday Friends!!! We had such a great weekend, and I hope you did as well! Grab our graphic and linkup with us this morning. Remember, any post goes!!
We really had the best weekend! And the weather was like it was in the middle of Summer! Friday evening we set up the garage so we could have Emma's Birthday party the next day in there. We hung out at home, watched the Red Sox and went to bed pretty early because the next day we had a big day ahead of us :)
Saturday morning we were up bright and early. We dropped the girls off at my in-laws house and Brian and I hit the road for a 2 hour drive to pick up Emma's Birthday present. She had NO idea at all what she was getting. At one point though she was certain we were getting her bunk beds because she knew we had to go pick up her gift and Brian made mention on whether or not we would need the trailer to hook on to the back of the truck to fit it in there. We were sneeky! So we drove, and met up with a sweet sweet lady a couple hours south of us. And this is what we got =)

Isn't she the sweetest!!! She is a rescue that came from South Carolina all the way to Maine =) We bought her from this group called Underhound Railroad and they were the nicest people to deal with. Her sweet foster mom was just the best!
She's a girl, but we still named her after our favorite Red Sox player, Mookie Betts. So everyone, meet Mookie!
She's a mix of sorts, but they think she's a mix of lab and boxer. I guess they call those Boxadors. ha!
I couldn't figure out how to upload the video I took of the girls when we gave them the puppy, but lets just say lots of happy tears were shed by Emma! I never thought I would get the reaction out of Emma we did, but were were very happy! She cried and cried she was so excited =)

Saturday afternoon we had Emma's party. I hired a lady that does "paint & sips" to come in and do a "tween" painting party. All the girls had so much fun.
The paintings were completely free hand, but the lady talked the girls though it and even painted along with them so they could see just how it was done. Emma got to choose what they painted, and she chose a sunrise of an ocean with a dolphin jumping out of the water.
Each painting was completely different which made it so fun!
She got lots of nice gifts, and had a great time at her party!
Sunday morning we headed to Petco with Mookie =)
She was a huge hit at the store!!
Her face just kills me, the eyes!!
That afternoon we watched the Red Sox game, which just so happened to be on at the exact same time as the Patriots. Who chose to have them at the same time!?! Haha
The rest of the day was just spent hanging out and chilling with our new pup.
She is doing so good at night. She gets into her crate around 9:00-9:30 and sleeps all night with no accidents yet!
