Summer Lovin'

Happy Thursday, Friends!  Wow, it's been quite some time since I've been to this little space.  I'm really trying to get motivated and blog a little more here.  Even though we are in the middle of a pandemic still, we have still managed to have a really great summer!  We were able to go to the beach one day, and today I am recapping it =)

Mother's Day

I haven't posted yet about Mother's Day, so here we are.  We had a great day, it was a bit on the chilly side, but we made do.  It was a little bit different this year because of the virus, but we still had a great day!

The girls painted me these adorable bird houses.  Brian ordered them from Lowes and then picked them up in the store and let the girls do whatever they wanted for painting on them

Easy Pasta Salad & Guava Chicken Kabobs

My favorite go to thing to bring to a BBQ or get together is a pasta salad.  They are so easy, and you can create so many different variations of them.  If you search my blog you can find a couple different ones that I have posted about.  The other day I needed a quick side dish for some grilled chicken kabobs, and this was about all I had in the fridge to put a salad together.  And sometimes you don't have to be "fancy".  You can throw stuff together and have it still turn out to be delicious.  It was a big hit with the family.  And it's easy.
