I haven't posted yet about Mother's Day, so here we are. We had a great day, it was a bit on the chilly side, but we made do. It was a little bit different this year because of the virus, but we still had a great day!
The girls painted me these adorable bird houses. Brian ordered them from Lowes and then picked them up in the store and let the girls do whatever they wanted for painting on them
And a cute little card =)
For lunch we had ordered lobsters, and we made the best decision by having them cook them. We still had to shell them and pick the meat out, but it was still way easier.
My favorite way to have a lobster roll is to just drizzle butter on it. A lot of people like it mixed with mayo, but I think it takes the flavor of the lobster away. We had a shrimp macaroni salad to go with it.
My mom made her homemade whoopie pies for me, and they were to die for.
And we ended the day with a picture of us to remember this weird time we are going through...
