hello Monday

Happy Monday friends!!  I hope you all had a great weekend.  We certainly did here, and today I am recapping.  Make sure to linkup below and join myself, Heather and Lindsay.

The end of last week was crazy and emotional at work.  I won't get into details, but to wake up Friday morning to this amazing sunset was like a fresh start that we all needed so badly.

Friday evening Emma went with my mother in law shopping, and Alyx and I went to dinner.  Her choice..."Tukey fried chicken"  Ha! I love how she says that.  So that's just what we did.  We were home pretty early and in bed early.

Saturday morning Alyx woke up to Patch leaving this for her.

A baking set!  She absolutely loved that she got her own little whisk and spatula among other things.  So fun =)

Later that morning they were having a Holiday Bazaar at Alyx's school.  It was so fun for the kids, and they had so many booths set up selling homemade crafts.

Alyx made a reindeer ornament with the girl scouts.

And had her face painted like Clarisse from Rudolph.

They had a raffle and I NEVER win anything.  I couldn't believe it when they called my number!  I won this beautiful Christmas wreath.

It smells SO good.  There is nothing like a real Christmas wreath.

After that we had to run into town to get a few things, so we stopped at the Mall so we could see Santa.  And Santa LOVED Alyx's face paint =)

Emma broke the rules by snapping this cell phone picture! HA!  I'm sorry but I wasn't paying $40 for a 5x7 picture.  So insane on the prices.  Alyx talked Santas ear off =)

We went into the ornament store to pick out a new ornament this year.

We headed back home to watch our University of Maine football team.  They made it to the NCAA FCS second-round playoff game.  And they WON!

They play again next Saturday.  It will definitely be fun to watch.

Saturday evening we went to my boss's for a Christmas Party.  And I didn't take one single picture.  But we had a lot of fun.  After the week we all had, it was so nice to sit down, relax and just have fun.

Sunday I spent doing absolutely nothing.  Other than some laundry, dishes and keeping the seat warm on the couch. haha =)  Although, I did try making some peanut butter fudge and I was shocked that it came out right!  I have the hardest time making it, so maybe it was the weather yesterday, who knows.

And it was delicious.

I hope you all had a great weekend.  Be sure to link up with us below =)
