Friday Favorites {Mothers Day Box Reveal}

Happy Friday!!  What a crazy long week it's been.  I have been out of town since Monday and just returned home last night.  I attended a work conference for 3 days and it was nothing but amazing.  Hands down the best training I have ever attended!  Today I am linking up with Narci, Andrea and Erika =)

Back in March I signed up for a Mother's Day Exchange that was hosted by Elizabeth from Chasin' Mason and Courtney from Sweet Turtle Soup.  I love a good swap, and this one was fun!

I sent a package to Ashley from Life at the farm, and of course I didn't take any pictures of what I sent to her, so check out her blog =)  I was paired with Emily from Simply a Rough Draft =)  Emily did awesome shopping for me!!  Here is what she sent!

This was so much fun to open!

This coffee mug was awesome!  I love the colors of it and the saying is perfect!
Emily also read my blog and found that I am obsessed with nail polish =)

And bonus these were 2 colors that I didn't have =)

She also sent along this delicious bag of yummy popcorn.

And some coffee!

I can't wait to try the coffee =)  She also sent an EOS lipbalm, but I totally forgot to put it in the picture!

Emily, you did an awesome job picking everything out, and thank you SOO much again!!!

And since I have been away all week I don't have much of anything else to share, ha!  I'll be back next week!  Have a great weekend!!

Hello May

Happy May!!  And Happy Monday!  I'm so excited that May is here.  I'm ready for the trees to finally have leaves on them and to plant some flowers =)

We had a really great weekend.  Brian and I were both off and we spent all day Saturday at Softball fields.  The weather couldn't have been any better.  Saturday morning started off pretty much amazing...

Krispy Kreme doughnuts all the way from Florida! =)  My parents brought them home to us, and they were so so good!  Later in the morning we headed off to Emma's first official Softball game.  She was really nervous but I knew she would do fine.  There is such a big age difference in this league that it kind of boggles my mind.  They can start playing in this league at the age of 7 all the way up to 13.  Most of the girls on the team that Emma's team played against are on the Middle School softball team.  It's kind of crazy, but she did well.

Emma up to bat!  She played 2nd base the entire game, and she did amazing at it!!

I love this picture.  Emma is batting and my niece Hannah (who plays for the team that Emma's team was playing against) is the catcher.  Who would have thought that 9 year old Emma would play against 13 year old Hannah =)  Emma's team came up short, but none the less they had a blast!

Alyx was excited to be outside all day long =)

Later on in the day we went to watch Brian play in a benefit Softball game for the Maine Special Olympics.

Our local area Police Departments played against the University of Maine Hockey team.  It was a lot of fun watching them play.  And Brian had a lot of fun playing.

Alyx enjoyed watching =)

Yesterday I spent the day getting stuff ready for the week.  I am leaving for a work conference until Thursday night.  It's going to be so weird being away from the girls and Brian too of course all week.  But I am definitely looking forward to this conference.

I hope you all have a great week and a great Monday!!

Linking up with Meghan and Biana today =)

Friday Favorites

Happy Happy Friday!  I'm so glad the weekend is here.  Brian is finally home from Massachusetts and we are both off this weekend!  Lots of softball is in our plans for Saturday and Sunday will be a day to pretty much just hang out at home and get some yard work done.  Monday I leave for a work conference for 4 days.  I'm looking forward to it, but also I really don't want to leave the girls for that long.  At least we have Facetime!  So let's get on with some Friday Favorites =)
Linking up as always with Narci, Andrea and Erika =)

This little one and I had a lunch date the other day together.  Boy is she a picky picky eater these days!!

But she did enjoy some chips and guac!

Emma was missing Brian pretty bad the other day so when I  picked her up from school we made a trip to Sweet Frog!

Frozen yogurt can make anyone happy, I'm certain of it!! =)

I was able to get away for a few hours the other day and relax by getting a pedicure and manicure.  It was sooo relaxing!!

On Tuesday we were blessed with this...

Snow!  Ugh!  At least it didn't stick, and by the time Emma had softball that evening it had cleared up.

It was super super cold though!

Emma finished up Newspaper club at school this quarter!  She had so much fun interviewing teachers and writing for the paper.

The next day at school they sold the papers in the school lobby for 10 cents =)  Emma bought herself 5 of them! ha =)

We had a softball scrimmage the other night.  Emma and her best friend, Emma, are on opposite teams for the first time ever.

My emma is in the black and grey.  They did really well and were both supportive of each other, which I loved!!  These girls are such great friends =)

And lastly, I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!!!
