Weekend Getaway - Part 2!!

On our last day of our weekend getaway we spent a good part of the day in the car driving home.  But...we took "the long" way home.  Which meant no interstate..all back roads!  It was actually a really nice drive.  We drove through quite a few towns here in Maine that I had never been too.  Some of them were so quaint and cute!!  Our first stop was Cape Elizabeth, which is in the southern part of the state.  It was absolutely beautiful there!  We had lunch at Two Lights State Park at a lobster place!  Super yummy!


We had crab rolls, onion rings and clam cakes!





The weather was beautiful and made me wish that we lived on the coast of Maine.  Truly beautiful!

Our next stop before getting home was to a small town called Camden.  Camden is really beautiful town.  Neat little shops and it sits right on a gorgeous harbor.  We were walking through a park and found a little boat landing where there were all kind of ducks swimming around.  Emma got right into the water with them and tried feeding them.  They weren't scared at all....and well neither was Emma!










We really had a lot of fun on this trip!  I love going different places with my family! =) 
Looking forward to this weekend...i'm having a bridal shower for my future sister-in-law =)

    Thanks for the comment on the working mom post! You are truly amazing to be working nights and doing everything. I am not sure how I would make that work, but it is amazing how moms can do it!!

    No problem! It definately has its ups and downs at times working nights...but for now we make it work! I would obviously love to be a stay at home mom, but for now it's really not an option! I'm loving this blog thing! I'm just getting into it and it's great to see how other working moms make it work! I'll continue to follow your blog! =)
