Tuesday Talk

Happy Tuesday!  I took a day off from blogging yesterday.  It's been a crazy few days around here.  We had family in town, and getting ready for Brian's grandmothers funeral which was yesterday.   And to top it off, Saturday my Father in law went in for emergency gallbladder surgery.  It's been nuts.  Thankfully he was able to make it to his mothers wake and funeral, but he's in a lot of pain still and is finally able to rest.  It's been nuts around here for sure.  So here is a look into our life the past few dsays.

We have had amazing weather around here. But hot.  Really hot!  We haven't had any time either to make it to the pool to cool off.  Most of our time has been spent at my inlaws, which has been nice because Emma and all her cousins have been able to spend a lot of time together.  We've had dinner most every night there the last few days.  My father in laws work had dinner delivered to us the other day, and it was delish and so nice of them.

It was nice to eat out side and watch the kids play, and have a couple of drinks with all the family.

We had a rain shower one evening and Alyx thought using an umbrella was hysterical!

We brought Alyx with us to the wake the other night.  I wasn't so sure about taking her, but she did excellent.  About 1/2 way through we took her outside for a walk and she loved smelling all the flowers.

Emma started summer camp this week!  It's only day 2 but she could not WAIT this morning to go.

She is doing the MYFG (Maine Youth Fish & Game) Camp.  Yesterday they learned archery, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and they went hiking.  They have to be at the school about 7:15 and we pick them up at 4:30 in the afternoon.  So it's definitely a long day.  From the school they take a bus to the camp.  Emma was exhausted when she got home last night =)

We ate dinner on our front porch last night, and Gunner was waiting every so patiently for anything that may fall.

So there is a little recap into our life lately.  I really wanted to link up with Andrea from Momfessionals for a home tour, BUT, with us not being home very much lately, my house has been a  bit neglected and it is no shape to be photographed right now! ha!  ;)  But I am sooo going to enjoying seeing everyone else's homes.  I'm a bit nosey like that ;)

Don't forget tomorrow!  Heather and I are hosting our 2nd Recipe Club linkup!

Be sure to link up with us =)
Have a great Tuesday!
