It's my 100th blog post today!!  YAY!! =)  And I did my first coupon'ing trip today!!  I've wanted to try it for a long time, but I had no idea what I was doing.  So one evening I did a lot of reading about it online, and figured out which stores in my area would take coupons and which ones would take more than one coupon.  So after cutting coupons and finding some online, Brian and Emma and Me of course headed out today to see what we could do!  95% of this was done at Target.  So here is what we got:

I'll break it all down as to what we got.
4 packages of Stayfree
4 Febreeze warmers
2 packages of Milo's dog treats
2 packages of Waggin' Trail dog treats
1 bottle of Scope mouthwash
1 tube of Colgate toothpaste
2 packages of Gillette Fusion razors
1 bottle of Garnier shampoo
1 package of Sunbelt granola bars
1 package of Kraft homestyle Mac&Cheese
Guess how much I spent?  $20.11!!!  Super happy about that.  I'm anxious to start doing a little more!!  Anyone else out there use coupons??

Have a great day!!! =)

  1. Yay! Good job!

I was really into it for awhile and then haven't found the time to keep up. I have a binder and everything made up that I would carry with me shopping. Maybe I will be able to get back into it once things slow down.

    1. My next purchase is going to have to be a binder! It was quite funny at the store, my coupons were falling everywhere! haha

    2. That is funny! Yeah, you will have to put together a binder if you are going to get into it. It is helpful. :)

  2. Good job! I got really into couponing for awhile, but our grocery stores stopped doubling and tripling their coupons so I quit. I really need to start clipping the ones for products I buy anyway! No point in not saving money!

    1. We only have 1 store in our area that will double coupons. I need to go to that one next and see what I can do =)

  3. Amazing job on the couponing! I was doing that for a while and it was great, but I've gotten lax lately. Reading this post has inspired me to begin again!

    1. Yay!! It really is fun to see the bill keep going down and down =)
